Belfast Pride Launch at the Lord Mayor’s Parlour

On Wednesday 30th June, Belfast Pride 2004 was officially launched in Belfast City Hall in the Lord Mayor's Parlour to celebrate the publishing of the official Pride Guide 2004.

Long time gay activist P.A. Maglochlainn interviewed some of the workers behind the event who made it a colourful day of celebration.

Includes unseen footage from Belfast’s first ever Gay Pride Parade way back in 1991. Following the success of Pride in 2003 where over 1,200 people attended the parade, Gay Pride 2004 was hoping to gain a much higher profile.
